mosquito is a great song, captured a period of james live that was not really heard by a lot of people. some of the half-arsed whiplash bsides really took the biscuit, particularly when you got to waltzing along.

All Good Boys - Sunday Morning - The Lake - Crescendo there are to many good ones to choose from. If I had a gun to my head I would pick Honest Joe live in reading 97....Probably Poor B-sides, There are also plenty but I will go with Assassin

Favorite: Very tough decision, but I'll have to say The Lake.
Least favorite: Long To Be Right.
But I think overall the album that produced the best b-sides was Millionaires. Those nine tracks would make a damn fine album put together. (I'm excluding Goal, Goal, Goal and the remixes of course.)

I agree. Millionaires B-sides are excellent. I also agree with Dave regarding the Whiplash ones. Half assed experimental stuff in my opinion .

"Tonight" is probably my favourite B side, I think it's as good as Sit Down, I suppose my least favourite would probably be Goalie's Ball!

I was reading down this topic wondering how you could hate Mosquito, but then I noticed I was agreeing with Dave and stopped. :-P

you're forgetting that I'm old enough to have heard it played live and it was mental.

Favourites: ***"Stutter" (live) "The Lake"; "Mary"; "The Shining (live at Ridge Farm)"
Least farourites: Too many remixes to name; "Gone Too Far"; "Wah Wah Kits" (I can't find a "Laid" single and have only heard an mp3. I'd still gladly buy the single because I think the quality of the file is quite poor.)
*** How a band goes their entire career without releasing a studio version of one of their best songs is $#@&ing beyond me.

Actually I'm looking for the one with "Wah Wah Kits" but thank you for the link, I also need this version of the single. *sigh* I wish I had discovered James about 10 years before I actually did...
