Can I just echo bon's sentiments? Ok, then, I will. It was really nice meeting everyone that I did. I'd try and write a list of names but I'd probably forget most of you because of my poor, painkiller addled brain. It might sound odd saying this, but out of the dozens of people I met (and meeting people off the board was the highlight of my trip) not a single one of you was anything other than warm, friendly and funny, and for what's essentially a group of strangers on the internet, that's a pretty damn special thing, perhaps as special as James are themselves. I hope I didn't let the side down.
So, a big hello to everyone I met, and an even equally big hello to anyone I might have missed. If I don't see you sometime at the next tour, or at the tentatively planned James "we're not calling it a convention" meet up, I will literally* cry .
*not literally.

Oh No I did forget one and I shouldn't have done. Oh! lisa how can you ever forgive me. Forgiven Bon - being the shy, retiring, mousey type I am easily forgotten . Of course, like GM I have a post of my own!! ;D AND I am loving the way Anne Marie is called Lisa's Friend Anne Marie!! I just call her The Manc, or her full title being The Manc Who Saw Tim Burgess Outside The Chippy When She Was Young And Lived In Northwich

Thanks Bon. I concur with you over the fiendliness and helpfulness of everyone on this forum. It has been an incredible fortnight with many friendships forged which I'm sure will last a lifetime. The typo has changed this entirely - fiendliness - I love it! But I'm not detracting from indeed everyone's friendliness - meet someone once and then next time you meet chat like you've known 'em for years. What a bunch

My plan failed miserably cos I was really early and met Folklore first at Manchester ... but ... I did want to bounce up to people and announce loudly, "HIYA! I'm actually a close friend of Tim, I post on the official board as 9/11 Was An Inside Job, and this is my boyfriend, Ticket Tout" ...
... would have been soooo funny!
