"Having said that........... I'm thankful that I will get to see them perform together again sometime very soon. (tick tock tick tock)"-taken from reply #1. I am just thinking out loud here. However is this tick tock tick tock (above) got anything to do with the tick tock tick tock countdown that preceded the Oran mor gig announcement?. If it is how slow does that make me?.

I love Bone and I agree it's a shame that there wasn't the opportunity for a follow-up. The sound seemed a lot 'freer' and a departure from James (and even BATBA really). A lot less restrained and looser somehow. You could definitely tell it was a Tim album rather than a James one. And that's not meant as a criticism.
Bone is such a slinky funky tune and Tim's almost whispered vocal really makes it.
Love Hard is also one of the sleaziest songs he's ever sang on. I really love that mad cranging (don't even know if that's a word?!) guitar towards the end. Sounds almost dangerous.
I love the rest of the album as well (although I could take or leave In The Darkness).
I saw him play with The Individuals twice as well, once at Liverpool Academy and the other time at the Royal College of Music in Manchester. Both of them were wonderfully intimate gigs and showcased a more laid-back and seemingly relaxed Tim.
I also really liked Lisa (forgotten her second name for some reason). She had a fantastic voice and I remember hearing some of her solo stuff on myspace a while ago and being blown away (can anyone remember her name - it's already really bugging me!)
Obviously I'm glad James are back, but it would've been nice to hear a bit more from the 'solo' project - however it did seem that everything had been put on hold for a bit - nothing like a band to tighten the focus away from dancing/acting etc. ;D

She's also got an official website which I was extremely happy to discover wasn't filtered by the ominpotent firewall here.
Think I'll write another thread about her... ;D
