There were tons of people looking at the setlist prior to the gig starting. Doesn't that spoil the gig for anyone - I like the complete blind anticipation of what would come next... and the euphoric surprise when it was a song you've never heard done before. I honestly would have prefered not to see it but on a stage like that when you're stood at the front you really can't avoid it. The setlist was followed as the last line was: RING THE BELLS / COME HOME which I assume meant one or the other. They did Bells and then added Laid as an impromtu extra song at the end.

I took that to mean Ring the Bells going straight into Come Home

Thanks Dave. Any idea when Stripmining and Really Hard were last played (to satisfy the stat fans out there)? Loved how they played Seven and Play Dead was a treat. www.oneofthethree.co.uk/jamesgigog.htmthere you go! Based on all the setlists lovingly compiled here (though I may have missed one or two): Really Hard: Dublin (and Cardiff?) 1999 Stripmining: Roskilde 1992 If Things Were Perfect: Manchester Ritz 1988!

I dont recall Really Hard being played in Cardiff 1999, but it was a while ago.
I do, however, recall Cast getting booed off stage a bit early after John Power started making comments about the welsh. Some valley herbert shouted (in strong welsh accent) "we didnt come ere to see you, so fack off like"
And they did. ;D

I caught If Things Were Perfect being played for the first time since I was 4 years old? Fantastic.
