Oh dear I suppose on the upside I should be able to see everything a bit easier - if i can bear to have my eyes open

if your ticket says UPPER STANDING you may have a chance as I'm led to believe the academy's balcony is for seated tickets only. Upper Standing, I've been told, only refers to the area the bar is situated in and allows you to go as near or far from the stage as you like. Don't take my word for it though.

Just rung the academy and they say that upper standing just means standing and it would say balcony if it was the upstairs bit - so no nose bleeds for me today except thru excitement . Right, I'm off to Glasgow .........woohoo!
