I always wondered why they only released one single off pleased to meet you. I assumed (Answering my own question) that it was due to the band being dropped by their record Label.
But maybe.....?

I've wondered about that as well. Especially since I think "Fine" would have been a better choice for a single. Or maybe even "Falling Down" (even though I love "GAWI").

It was because their record contract expired... "Falling Down" was intended as a second single from the album but their contract with Mercury expired and Mercury didn't see any point in putting it out.

"Fine" would have been an amazing single! I simply adore the lyrics. I love how Tim writes mood-based songs, some lines are very cryptic but when you analyze the song as a whole it winds up being very consistent. I find he writes metaphorical landscapes, which is so refreshing compared to the one-dimensional drivel that plagues the airways. An exquisite choice.
