And I hardly think they were that low on space, given the capacity of a DVD. I suppose there is several hours of footage, but surely they could have included the rest of the concert. They should have excluded the promo videos and released all of those respectively on one DVD instead of clipping the concert and then giving us three of the most widely available videos.

On the bootleg version, the part where the equipment breaks down, is much more extensive. There's also other remarks and comments on it. I just watched the DVD again last night and I believe you're absolutely right. Near the end of "Laid" Saul stops playing, holds up his guitar and points to it, adressing someone offstage. Having not attended the concert, I have no idea how involved he was during IKWIHF, but if in fact his equipment wasn't working during the song, that might explain why Saul or some other band members may want it canned from the DVD. We all know his equipment was broken during "Hymn", so that would be common ground between those two songs and only those two if that is indeed why the songs were dropped. If so it is a shame, but I think if I were Saul I would have been furious enough to insist they be dropped. I hear and see new things every time I watch the concert, and I also picked up on several audience members shouting "f*ck him" when Tim stated they couldn't continue to play without Saul. One thing you have to hand to James, they don't mess up, they bounce back.
