OK... finding this has been a mission of mine for quite a while-
Right before Millionaires came out, someone posted a streaming live early version of Fred Astaire. Since it was streaming, I couldn't download it. This sucked because it was alot faster than the album version and started with an incredible guitar lick.
So the obvious question: Anyone have this? Know of this?

I've got one knocking around - Newport 98 was where it was debuted, I'll stick it on the end of this week's rather splendid mpegs which I'm going to keep secret for now

Do you recall where it was posted? Hopefully its the one that Dave has... but I have no clue as to where it was originally posted. All I remember was I was desperate to hear a sample of the new album before it came out and my crappy 56k modem didn't like steaming it. -geo

Speaking of different versions of Fred Astaire, I just listened to the live version on the bonus CD that came with Millionaires for the first time in a while. That's an amazing version. I love that piano in it.
