I'm sure this was a thread before but I can't find it, so here is my ultimate setlist for a James gig: Summer Songs Chain Mail Burned Waltzing Along Ya Ho Honest Pleasure P.S I Defeat Tomorrow English Beefcake Weather Change Stowaway Slow Right Down Lullaby One Of The Three The Lake Sometimes Encore 1 Come Home Say Something Strip Mining Encore 2 Just Hip Lullaby Don't Wait That Long Looking back at that setlist, I am now considering changing the gig to an acoustic evening

I can see Tim travelling down a water slide with a mic in hand...
"Down the chute and out the door, I know that we've been here before"
A rebirth of sorts!
The songs are merely a representation of the type of songs I would love to see played live, a pipe dream.

They'd probably have to be at their peak to pull this one-off, there's quite a lot of old ones in there. But I think this would be one hell of a gig :
1. Riders 2. Johnny Yen 3. Hymn From A Village 4. Fairground 5. Scarecrow 6. Born Of Frustration 7. Low Low Low 8. Homeboy 9. Come Home 10. Knuckle Too Far -OR- Walking The Ghost 11. Gold Mother 12. What For -OR- Ring The Bells 13. Jam J 14. Stutter -OR- Bring A Gun 15. Sandman (Hup-Springs) 16. Summer Songs 17. Waltzing Along
---
18. Why So Close OR Top Of The World 19. God Only Knows 20. Laid
----
21. Out to Get You OR Undertaker 22. Sit Down

Here we go: if we are all honest the ideal setlist would be 4 hours long and comprise about 40 songs but I've given it my best to get 21 (leaving room for 2/3 new songs)
Tonight Are you ready Lose Control *Upbeat new song Protect me Sometimes Sit Down Stowaway *New Song Born of frustration Island swing Gaudi Afro lover Billy's Shirt Sound Come Home Strangers
Encore *New Song or Scratchcard How was it for you Ya Ho Heavens
If they could squeeze in If things were perfect then life would be complete.
Take care
