I wondered if anyone knew. Maybe it'll help explain why some songs hardly ever get played, even ones that were on albums.

I read that Tim said his was 'sometimes' - on his web site in an interview. I think that's correct, but have a look just in case I've got it wrong.

I've heard Tim cite "Hymn From A Village" and "Just Like Fred Astaire" as his favorite James songs.
And I know he really loves "The Lake" and wasn't too happy that it ended up as a b-side.

The Lake should of definitely made it on to LAID, perhaps replacing Skindiving *ducks and waits for something to be thrown in general direction*

He did say around 1999 at a show Just Like Fred Astaire was the best song James had written, and I know he loves Sometimes and The Lake

Jim's favourite to play was "Out To Get You", I remember hearing.
