I was driving home today (way way early! Hurrah!) and as I still don't have music in my car I nearly always sing. And as no one can hear it'll be my best effort (which few people have ever heard, cos if I sing solo in public I'd rather take the piss than actually try)
And I decided ... my best song to sing is probably She's A Star - starts off in a lovely Alto-ish key and then the high bits are glorious falestto tones so I can do those preceeded by a deep breath ...
... other than that, I do a good Born of Frustration, but I'm pants at English Beefcake and Crash, as I found out today!
What do other people sing, and sing well??! Needn't be James ...

I think Thursday Treatments and Where You Gonna Run suit me best.

James' song would be Sometimes. However, I sing along to EVERYTHING....some stuff I can get the right key, others I don't but I don't give a f*ck 'cos I enjoy myself!!! I've been in a couple of bands and I'm not averse to just getting up and performing - I once did a blinding "It's oh so quiet" on a table in a bar in Cyprus - it brought the house down!!! I don't think it was the quality, just me having the balls to get up there. Again 'cos I don't give a .....!!

Songs like Give It Away and Lost A Friend have some high parts I can't reach, at least with sounding ropey. So Many Ways is too high for me in the chorus....
I think I can do Five-O, She's A Star, Protect Me and Tomorrow OK.

JAMES song = It would have to be Born of frustration. I can't keep it in key (all the time) but I don't really care about that.
Any OTHER song = Live the dream by CAST. If I had to audition for 'the X factor' or something then this would be my song........ and YES I would probably win the show.

I have to admit to joining in (maybe too keenly) to the accoustic version of Lose Control (Alton Towers set especially) and out to get you too.

Got another! "Mr Brightside" - I love singing that. And "The Cutter". And "Marie's the Name". In fact, I'll stop now. I love singing the majority of my music collection, and as there are literally thousands of tracks then this would be a purty large post! I like to sing emotional, sad ones when I feel down for catharsis. Ah.

"Undertaker" has some great parts to sing to... especially during the bridge "are you following maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ay-yeah" and during the words "undertakaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah"
"Skindiving" is great for falsetto. In the live version, I can't tell where the vocals end and the guitar begins - EPIC!
"Lost A Friend <has> some high parts I can't reach" - I can't reach those without a trainwreck
"English Beefcake's" "Whoooooooooooooooah ohhhhhhh oh oh oh uh" is dope
"Born of Frustration" is great relief... better than graham crackers.
"Crescendo" is powerful, emotional, and heart-filled...but all of the lyrics don't work - I need to make up my own, the ones I heard for 100 times before reading the lyrics' sheet

none!!! And if you hear me sing you'll know why!
Though in reality Tomorrow and Seven stir me most. I do my best on 'Bored with Crustaceans'
and that refreain on Fred Astaire 'Come dance, the waters riesling!

I think Thursday Treatments and Where You Gonna Run suit me best. ROFLSAUSAGEme and Folklore do a mean duet on the AltNRG version of RingTheBells if I remember rightly
