I think we can safely say that we can expect to see two new singles, unless the unlikely event of a double A side is chosen.
In this case what do we feel that the B sides would be; conservatively I would say this gives room for 4 additional tracks to be released on Cd singles.
I believe the band were always reluctant to use backcatologue songs as fillerson singles (weren't they trying to hurriedly trying to record songs after the last Best Of, so that Runaground wouldn't have to have the Gold Mother lost tracks on it). This would suggest some alternate live versions or even new songs (but I believe it is too short notice to expect too many new songs).
Could they put some offcuts from PTMY - Scratchcard etc that they were familiar with, but weren't entirely newly constructed songs???

For me if the B sides were old tracks then they would have to be some long lost live or session gem, something that was really special. More new songs would be perfect, but I'm not sure how likely that will be. Heres to hoping though, as I just abhor remixes on b sides.

Some new songs would be nice but I'd equally be happy with some old vinyl only or unreleased tracks

Firstly, there's no indication of a physical single release for the new album. If there is, I'd imagine it'd only be Who Are You?
I'd go for the longlost studio versions of Gregory's Town and Maria's Party.

Now that would make a fantastic single.
