Love this song, bit as it's called the "Ambient version" is there another version of it anywhere?
Also which face of the year is it about?

This song is another perfect example of my evolution as a James fan. Five years ago I would never give this song the time of day, but after cranking the hits and the savage beats over and over, then my heart was really ready to pay attention to some good lyrics and 'get' the music. Sometimes I think of the blonde girl from She's A Star video when I hear this song (as stupid as she's pretty?).

I never meant that I don't love the sight of her, but in the Star video she does play the role of antagonist. From the screenshots on this site, I used the one of Tim facing sideways with his hand up and open as my screensave at work! Anyway, my real point is that the song So Swell is lucious and beautiful. Many James songs seem like ambitious rants or jamming experiments, but then they create some polished works of art like So Swell. (But whoever tried to 'polish' Vervaceous was an idiot. So glad I have GAWI Live on CD to really enjoy the song proper!)
