Over the years I've seen a fair few top notch bands courtesy of James.
To list a few their were Radiohead, the Stereophonics, Cast, Pil, Turin Brakes Etc.
They always seemed to pull in great support!

Couldn't agree more. I would have happily paid the ticket price just to see James. The other bands were a bonus and I am amazed at the number of people who don't take an interest in them!
I really enjoyed Cast and Turin Brakes. S/phonics I was iffy about but enjoyed their sets anyway. I quite liked Route57 (I think that was the name they used: help me out here Dave) A bit of fun!

Remember MTV's 5 Night Stand with Kent and Coldplay supporting James...what more can you ask for?

Remember MTV's 5 Night Stand with Kent and Coldplay supporting James...what more can you ask for? Ah yes. The only time I got to see James live. I remember liking Coldplay, but I thought Kent was pretty awful. Of course in the anticipation of seeing James live for the first time, I just wanted them to get the hell off the stage.

I was at the 93 tour when Radiohead were supporting. Wasn't all that impressed with them at the time, but then I was only 16 and desperate to see my fave band!! Ed O'Brien ended up sitting next me on the balcony tho' and watched James' set, nice bloke and he gave me an autograph too!! LOved the Turin Brakes too and Cast weren't bad either!!

Remember that Radiohead had to open for James in Besancon (France), but Tom had a cold, so Radiohead din't play, what a shame !!!!
