This was a fantastic gig for me. I was 17 had won backstage passes through a competition and will never forget meeting the band. Still one of the best nights of my life.

*doesn't quite remember being 3 years old* Well it was my 21st birthday arrived thrusday and left Blackpool sunday afternoon, The Winter Gardens were two mins from the guest houseme and my mates were in, Yes and I remember the weather being really nice, as we drank all day the Manchester Bar, cos we had too as we're from Manchester LOL down side was being short changed!!!!!

I remember a quality set list, Scarecrow, Black Hole, Strip Mining. Also a few of the forthcoming Seven album, including a fast Don't wait that long. I have a tape of the Friday night gig somewhere.

I was at Blackpool too on the Saturday my first James gig. Very very warm in the ballrooom from what i remember, came out drenched as if i had been swimming in the sea!!!
Great gig though.
