I don't know about the rest of you, but from what I've been reading, this is truly otherworldly. I've been having trouble concentrating at work. I feel like a child whose divorced parents have decided to give er another go. It's ridiculous to feel so strongly about pop music, and yet I don't care how odd it might seem to outsiders.

I agree 100% I had dinner with my parents and couldn't stop talking about them reforming. My parents have no idea who I'm talking about... i feel like I'm 14. and yes, its pop music. but good pop.

I still really can't believe it. I am just shocked Tim would join in, but I guess it depended on who else came back in the band... I get flack from friends about my James obsession, but honestly, I feel privileged to know their music - everyone else just doesn't understand what they're missing. And I seriously cannot comprehend when someone says "they're alright". Sorry, buddy, they are way more than just alright. How can one not be enthralled by their sound? Sometimes I think we are the only ones who really get it! So, elitist...happily maniacal...maybe silly... nah!

I remember getting one friend into James. one day we were in his apartment and I blasted "sit down" and we danced around like silly children. it was so great haha. We are privileged to know their music... and if people dont see the beauty, their loss

yeah, i've been finding very difficult to concentrate over the last few days. just thinking of going to the UK and see them live.. i've been thinking about it ever since i got the news.
hope they'll return with a bunch of new songs, a lot of the much overlooked PTMY and the least number of singles as possible on their sets. stutter, walking the ghost, hymn from a village, jam j, knuckle too far, that kind of stuff.... 2001's winter sure was a great tour. hope they'll be able to get another oportunity to say goodbye like that when they call it quits for good.
please the press wouldn't hurt either, and if a best off reissue happens, it will kill them before the even begin. they need the press on their side to get them back to the top.

I know! I'm finding it difficult to concentrate on anything else. Got that funny buzzing feeling of excitement. I keep trying to tell myself not to be so stupid, but it won't go away. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Thank goodness for this forum, which has people on it that actually know how I'm feeling. Everyone else would think I was mad if I told them. Felt like I might implode if I couldn't share this with someone.....
