Hi
I'm Tom I've been a James fan since i was 10 - ever since Sit Down in 1991 and I'm now 26 which for is quite young for an 'older' James fan.
I've seen them live three times (hope to increase that to five soon!!!) and my favourite songs are Sit Down , She's A Star and Say Something.
I'm also a fan of what I thought would have been worthy successors Youth Group - can't believe they now co-exisit...

I must admit I'm not an old fan - I'd listened to them because of my parents all my life, but only individually liked them around Pleased To Meet You. But I'm only 14 now, so they were formed before I was even born...

You and I have parallel lives, ish! I'm 26 and have loved the band since 89/90 - but this will be my 12th and hopefully 13th gig of theirs.
Doesnt matter about young/old, real James fans are ageless!

I must be one of the oldest fans I am 45! Sorry to disappoint you - I'm 56. Took my daughter to see the band in 1998 and have been following them ever since.

I'm 25, from Birmingham and have loved James for years. Must have been to every gig they've done in Birmingham since i was 15. Avoiding Birmingham this time though (not keen on venue) in favour of Manchester. Also love Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis, Stone Roses etc. Oh and for some reason my favourite band is UB40.

I'am 39 at the end of the month, both my daughters have watched them, and now glad that my new grandaughter who is 2 months might even get to watch them some time. I.ve got a t-shirt ready for her which belonged to one of my daughters from the alton towers gig.

I'm 26 later this month. I remember when Sit Down came out but was too busy listening to EMF and wearing my cap sideways to take much notice of them . Became hardcore in 1996 when I Believe off BATBA came out. Converted me from the first listen. Ran the rather basic and poorly coded (yet quite popular according to the stat counter) www.stateofbliss.co.uk from about 1998 to 2002, when I lost my rewrite of the site with final tour photos, and then forgot to renew the domain. I'll try and get all the photos up on Flickr or something at some point.

Ok might as well do this since the rest of you are! Honest Joe aka Michael from Belfast, Norn Iron. Been a James fan since i was 14 ... now 30 , blame the whole addiction on my australian cousin who was staying with us at the time and who bought me a EMF tape but I heard her Goldmother tape and decided to take that instead! ... wow this is turning into a AA Meeting of sorts! I also ran the Violentrain tribute site for a number of years if anyone cares to remember it. So yep James also helped me get a job also as im a nerdy IT type now! Honestp.s what was with EMF? how shit were they!!

I'll have a go aswell, i have been into james since 1989, whilst in my last year of high school, since being a fan it has been a funny old ride, from a lost love at the g-mex gig 1990, a tooth extraction at the 2nd g-mex( and yet another lost love) some theiving persons at the parr hall gig, pinched my pink programme had to buy another one then missed train home to manchester, doh. lots of gigs, james sod off to usa cos they getting grief from the press here, joyfull return with the whiplash tour, then a few albums later then a farewell tour, at this point it was all too much too bare, but i hung in there and now like a relative back from the dead they appear, i feel all over the place, excited, tentative......my tickets came this morning yeah! so happy now and here's for the next james instalment.......phew! may it last forever and i hope i'm the first to die. Sorry for the length of this post. p.s. my 1st born came into the world in 2001, when james split, and my 2nd born is due in the year they reformed.........spooky (well in my world) sayanara. Baisc Brian bring on the 28th

Hi, heres my h'pworth,
I first heard James in the early 80's 'Stutter' and thought them interesting. Stutter has since become one of my big fave's. I was about 27 at the time (to save you on the maths I'm 52 now).
Have seen them more times than I can count (though not as many as our host)
