Reading all these posts do make you think back. I first saw James in 1983 (I was 17) at the State Ballroom in Liverpool. Since then I've divorced (once) lived with a significant other, left him and am now quite happy living with my daughter and seeing my "better half" a couple of times a week. My daughter is 15, she won a talent competion when she was seven singing Sit Down and hates it when I get the video out. She also moans when I play all my James songs cos she knows all the words to my "crap old music". Bad Angle, Alder Hey is a great hospital, my daughter was diagnosed as type 1 diabetic when she was 5 and they were brilliant, she then had problems with her liver, kidneys and pancrease but the team at Alder Hey were great. She is now just a typical 15 year old (god help me) but still has to go to hospital six to eight times a year, but things do get better. Looking at pictures from when she was five to now the difference is great, hope everything works out for your little girl

Hmm. What was I doing in 2002? Listening to crap pop music and hanging around the arcade with my boyfriend. I was 13 so I thought James were just some old people band my mum liked.

Since 2001 I have moved house three times. I was already married and both my daughters already born so thats still the same. Other than that I just seem to be working and getting bigger and bigger mortgages!

My James story starts in 1998 with my friend Pew who I am going Manchester 28/04 with. We used to drive around all over the country playing James (best of/laid) 'singing with passion' to each other (as you do!) In 1999 when I was 17 (still singing with passion) I discovered I was pregnant!!! Not a great plan. I remember sitting in my front room alone wondering what the hell to do (again..as you do!) I was listening to 'The Best of' when 'she's a star' kicked in. I looked up and knew that I was going to have my own little star and never looked back! Pew stood by me (father didn't!!) and I had a baby girl; Niamh....and yes she is a star and she knows every word to that song. When I was pregnant Pew and friends went to see james at Manchester (dec 2000)....I stayed at home all big and round! Then we had tickets to GY audiotorium, but the roof blew off on the day of the concert. Then in 2001 they went their separate ways and I thought I would never get to see them! Years later here I am....still LOVING James and I have tickets! Niamh is 7....life is great and I am so lucky to still have a friend like Pew
