Has anyone out there noticed that Wonderful seems to have metamorphosed into Sometimes and that Violent Rain became Crash.
Not trying to be a smart alec but listen to them together you'll see what I mean.
So, indirectly, they have been released as two of the lads best songs!!!
Now they're back would be very interesting to see a live mix of violent rain/crash as they are two of my favourite songs anyway - 2 birds one stone.

I kinda see what you mean about Violent Rain and Crash although i can't see the similarity between Wonderful and Sometimes other than a similarly driving rhythym. I always thought for some reason Gregory's Town was a bit similar to Ring The Bells and Tomorrow although i listened again tonight and can't see any similarity.

Different key, different chord progression, different rhythm, different tempo. That's one hell of a metamorphosis.

I have just stumbled on a revelation that has stunned me:
Scratchcard became............ ....... ........ ........ ........ ........... ........ .......... .......... ........... ......... ......... ......... OH MY HEART
I cant beleive it - go on have a a listen it is quite obvious to me now I knew there was a reason I loved Oh my heart so much from the very first moment I heard it!!!

Thank you for that, I was thinking nobody cared! When awaiting a tour to start I dig out the Bootlegs I have of gigs I've been to. Well I played Liverpool 2000 and an introduction started and I started doing the oooo-oooh di-na-na aaah-aaah bit and was wondering what I was singing then replayed Scratchard and immediately realised I was singing the start of Oh My Heart played it and what do you know it's the very song - musically. I'm glad they didnt release Scratchcard now because they've nailed it IMO with Oh My Heart and with the addition of Larry's Guitar it's a joy to hear! Although I liked the basis and sentiment of scratchcards lyrics.

Right, saying as very few people bought into the earlier Scratchcard became Oh My Heart thing (even though it is obvious ) here's another one to attempt to stimulate some debate. I Wanna Go Home is an update of Gregory's Town , No no I havent gone mad, go listen (to the - man drinking himself morose version - beginning 'Gregory's feeling queasy', not the one beginning 'Gregory knows its madness' ), consider, discuss ;D if you can be arsed or actually give a shit (as before - I have too much time on my hands at the moment)

OK - so where can I get hold of Gregory's Town, Scratchcard, Violent Rain and Wonderful?
Have got a few boots that I've not got round to when I got sent a whole heap of stuff but if you can point me in the right direction or upload them to Egoiste I'd be a happy bunny...
