There’s some talk that Tim Booth may reprise his role as Victor Zsasz in TDK. That’s all I’ve heard, no further details so Tim could be in the new Batman movie playing the same charicter as before www.batman-on-film.com/batmovienews.html

Yes, I've also thought/hoped so myself.

I thought Batman crushed him when Victor pulled out a knife, did he not?

there's no reason why Tim shouldn't return. I thought he was excellent for the little screen time he had, and it would be wise to develop the character ... at least into a speaking part.

Zsasz is also one of the best Batman villains.
I had a chat to Tim about it after the Hoxton gig - apparently he said they didn't even give the actors the comics to read, so the fact that he got the character right was purely coincidental!
Concidentally, Zsasz' most recent appearance (Detective Comics #815) showed him to appear like Tim - that is to say, older and without any hair - whereas beforehand he had cropped, blonde stylings.
Zsasz also speaks in the graphic novelisation. I forgot to ask Tim if he actually had any lines, but he talks in the accompanying video game, so it would seem logical...

I really think Tim's got the ability to be a far greater actor than lyricist/singer. If I were in the business I'd cast him in a second - would love to see him make a name for himself in it. I mean if Goldie can do it ....

Tim has so many talents. He chose to fully develop a few of them.

don't think the entertainment industry works like that .... if it did, how do you explain Arnold Schwarzenegger? and then how did a lyricist like Tom Waits go virtually unnoticed for over 25 years by the mainstream? cB
