Just to avoid a mass of PMs, I didn't get a bootleg of last night. I did try but my MD threw a hissy fit. If anyone does get hold of one let me know. Same thing happened with Popadop's attempts at recording it! That's 2 chances dashed

I loved the mix of songs! It was cracking. This proves once again that James are not just any other band. Their ability to go back in time and resurrect the old tunes (Chain Mail, Really Hard, Goldmother) is DOPE!

DOPE? have you turned into Ali G or something? it wouldnt be a case of "Who Are James" more like "I is James" Honestp.s be good to see another US tour but things have changed a lot both there and for the band .... so might not be a major goal at the minute but fingers crossed!

James have balls - what a great logo for a t-shirt. Honest Joe? Gold Mother? Lisa? :-) I quite like that one. Maybe for the next tour!

Have enjoyed reading all your thoughts on last night. It was a billiant performance I thought. Probably the most enjoyable I've been to. Riders sounded really contemporary despite being written so long ago. It was great to here songs such as She's A Star - songs that I got bored hearing during the last few years of James - being reworked and developed. Larry back is a great thing - and Tim minue dancing just seemed even more impressive and his energy seemed channeled and powerful -Brillliant!! Rob

An brilliant setlest.
However far from being jealous (yeah, who am I trying to kid) I'm more and more excited about Manchester.
I desperately want to see Chain Mail at the MEN.

I'll be much more polite than Dave will be:
Don't post any links to new songs on these forums. He has already banned somebody!
Reading that again, I don't think I have been any more polite than Dave. Oh well.

A very modest (and rather pathetic) saturday evening gift to you all from the other night (Don't get too excited , there's no music ) - just a little bit of banter from Tim and Saul. To set the scene, Tim announced that they were going to play an old rare song, as that's what he thought we wanted (given the type of gig it was), then in referring to the proper tour was suggesting they would be playing more traditional songs from next week. www.wikiupload.com/download_page.php?id=126125Click on download file and then type in the characters. FYI, the song that required their concentration was the rather beautifully slow She's A Star
