what are you going to do? come down to manchester and trash the town? Of course it will be Celtic fans possibly this year, as Rangers have been knocked out of European competitions already.... Second qualifying round, and they get knocked out! Even City don't get knocked out that early.

"We’re laughing out loud We’re laughing A sound between a cry and scream We’re laughing Laughing out loud" Thanks to you lot, I'll never be able to listen to 'Boom Boom' again. I hope you're all happy!!!! simonutd - I think you're wrong about Spurs. The signing of Robbie Keane should be worth a few points to Liverpool, and it could cost Spurs a few points. He is good. Tribec - Liverpool fans stole the match ball at Ibrox (I'm not joking), so the only table I would place them on top of would be a criminal one. Having said that I still believe they will win the league this season. Lester Piggott - That weird, I'm hoping Kaunas win the Champions league as well. and OOTT - I was going to say "You fuck off" but I won't, I'll simply say..... ..... wait and see. ;D

I'm staying out of this one. ;D Have you seen this weeks table?. Liverpool aren't top but they are ahead of last seasons winners. Surely you have to Say Something. Say Something. Anything. ;D

Well I don't support Liverpool (what a suprise) but did watch them on Saturday and just wondered if Keane forgot which team he now plays for ;D

How did your lot get on Jayne? Having to play a 17 year old kid and then bring on a 16 year old to try and rescue the game isn't at all desperate at this stage of the season in particular is it? 7 subs and not a single Premiership appearance between them. Wonderful - great youth policy there. Nothing to do with not being able to keep players or buy new ones eh? ;D Yes we played crap - but we won. League tables are irrelevant at the moment obviously, but I wasn't expecting that Newcastle result on Sunday - marvellous. ;D

League tables are irrelevant at the moment obviously, but I wasn't expecting that Newcastle result on Sunday - marvellous. ;D Of course the Newcastle result was marvellous, it keeps us on track, I mean we drew our opener last year 0-0 with Reading, and they went down and we won a couple of cups. So let's hope for a repeat season. As for injuries, it wasn't exactly an experienced bench for United this weekend, Neville and O'Shea the only players with first team experience for United. As for Everton, they were a wee bit unlucky, but it's swings and roundabouts. I'm sure they'll be in and around the top 6 this year, and possibly go on a good cup run this season. I fancy them to do well in the Carling Cup for some reason.

Even my Evertonian friends are worried at the moment - I can't see them getting in the Top 6 if they continue through the season with the size of their squad. They need to invest heavily and even if it's more quantity than quality. If they don't I can well see them in mid-table at best - and no, that's not just my bias coming through, it's based on looking at the palaver in the club behind the scenes (hypocrite, moi? ;D ) and the state of the club in general, not to mention the fans themselves being more pessimistic than ever - my season-ticket holding Blue mate reckons they could flirt with relegation this year unless things improve dramatically before the end of August.
While I'd obviously be more than pleased to see it, it does strike me as a bit sad - maybe it's the thing about being a small club in the city who play in blue while the big club in red wins things. Now who could I be referring to? Hmmmm..... ;D
As for the Carling Cup, people usually put out their second string in that. For Everton that may mean playing a few kids from the local primary school! ;D
