GOOSE FAIR!!!!!
Candy floss, hotdogs, mushy peas and mint sauce, cocks on sticks (yes really, less of the sniggering please!) brandy snaps and toffee apples. Kids getting excited by the ghost train, flashing lights and screaming hordes. The ever hopeful thought that Kiefer Sutherland circa Lost Boys might show up, and laughing at the wannabe emo goths trying to be him. Hook a duck and absurdly large cuddly toys. The old school rides - cakewalks, galloping horses and merrygoround swings. Watching grown men turn green and wobbly knee'd when they get off the pendulum upside down ride from hell. And lest I forget, second helpings of mushy peas and mint sauce.
Roll up, roll up for all the fun of the fair. I love it ;D
