I'm coming down to Manchester for the day on Friday and have a good few hours to kill before I see Stevie at the MEN. I don't particularly want to spend all day in the pub (well I do really!) and was thinking of doing the tour of Old Trafford. Has anyone been and do you know if it's worthwhile?
Also if anyone has any other sugestions of how to spend an (undoubtedly) rainy day in Manchester please throw them my way.

Having been on the Old Trafford tour quite a few times (not out of choice, more work) I would certainly say if you are interested in football it's worth while. The tour itself is interesting, but the best part is going to the museum afterwards, now that is worth going to see. Even if you are not a United fan, it's worth a look no matter who you support.
