Humour me with this.... I was reading through Empire Online's 100 greatest movie characters (Tim didn't get in it ) and they said this about Han Solo from the Star Wars movies: How cool is Han Solo? He's the only non-Jedi in the series to spark up a lightsaber, and it doesn't look out of place in his hands. Now I'll admit to being a bit of a Star Wars fanboy as a lad but really can't remeber that at all. Anyone else recall this?

I know where this is.......
Empire Strikes back and Han goes looking for look on Hoth, after Luke fails to return to base. After Luke escapes from the Wampa, he collapses and see's Ben. Han comes through the image of Ben, and tries to build an ice shelter for the night.
However Luke's in a bad way so he grabs his light saber, kills his Tonton with the sabre, makes the comment over them smelling worse on the inside than the outside and then drags Luke over to the dead beast to keep him warm.
Geek bit over.... I have only seen these films a couple of hundred times so I should know where that part is.

Am I the only person in the world that has never seen a Star Wars filem? I'm sure there are some more out there somewhere. I have to admit, I still haven't seen the last 2.

How cool is Han Solo? He's the only non-Jedi in the series to spark up a lightsaber, and it doesn't look out of place in his hands. What about General Grievious? He had four of the bastards! Also, Palpatine used a lightsaber and was never a Jedi, he was a Sith. Of course, that article may have been written before Episode III came out. Nergasm over.

Okay, what about Darth Maul (episode 1) then, he had a double ender Seems it was a premature Nergasm ;D

We could always mention that R2D2 had control of a light sabre, all be it hidden and not ignited at some point. However, I think most Star Wars geeks might answer back that Grievous was a robot, and thus Solo was still only human non-Jedi to handle a ignited sabre.
As Sith's are by all accounts just greedy Jedi's, they can be counted as Jedi's. If looking further into the Star Wars universe, there are plenty of non-Jedi, who have sabres as weapons, but that's just the real geeky part about it. I could go on for ever and a day about this. In fact, me thinks it's time to watch a SW film today to get me a bit cheered up before tonight
