Loud Huzzahs! My avatar lives and breathes. How disappointing! I was expecting Big Daddy* with an Ostrich's head photoshopped in. *note to Chris - big fat wrestling bloke in red and white stripy victorian bathing suit saying Big Daddy on it. I realise you weren't born when this stuff was all the rage on a Saturday teatime

Right. A road trip to the in-laws looms. Time to share
For listening pleasure en route from my most recent acquisitions shall we have:
1. Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy 2. Kings of Leon - the new thingy 3. James - Hey Ma 4. Fleet Foxes (actually that's likely to be vetoed by the rabble within about a nanosecond) 5. Various artists - We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbangin' New Year
Choose carefully, grasshoppa

Another solution:
Forget democracy, the only democracy allowed in my car is the chinese kind (although not usually of the G 'n' R variety)
1) I say what gets played.
2) What gets played is at such high volume the screams of the fighting kids is easily diminished.
3) Never allow anyone but yourself near your iPod upon pain of death.
4) Brainwash your kids from an early age that James are the best band on the planet and allow no quarter on this subject.
It works for me, re this years christmas in-law roadtrip...
Mr GM: Can we listen to Live in 2008 please first, I haven't heard that one as much as the others. ;D
