Alan Green is a twat. Slight arm contact? He was still holding him in the box, and that makes it a penalty even if the offence started outside the box. You'd have come across as LESS ridiculous if you'd just said you hadnt seen it! Challenge for you, next time I bump into you (and before I get pissed), grab me by the upper arm with one hand and see if you can get ME to fall over. Winner gets a pie (hollands of course)

I seemingly recall, the shock and disgust that the Utd had for the penalty given against us at the Council house, when Rafael "made slight arm contact" with that golfer. This was exactly the same in that respect, with first contact outside the area and the player running and falling in the area.
As for the yellow/red card situation. I find it funny that people are using the Vidic situation in the Carling Cup final as a stick to beat Fergie with. Fergie said he thought Vida was lucky not to see red. However people seem to forget that.
Still it's always good to watch a bit of Scousebusting.

Great result for the Premiership. However the refereeing and the silly fucksticks with flags were a disgrace. Two stick on penalties, not given. Drogba couldn't have got more offside if he tried and Macheda's goal made Maradonas look like accidental handball. Embarrassing!!

This isn't sour grapes, but United were poor yesterday and were only marginally better than they were against Bayern earlier in the week. Mind you both teams both offered up the same amount of shots on goal, 3 each. It was a reasonable game, but neither team really wanted to offer themselves going forward. Not that United could, the midfield collective have all lost form together at the wrong time of the season.
As for the decisions, I've only seen Kiko's goal during the game. I switched off the multiple replays after seeing it hit his chest first. I'll have another look later today or tomorrow. As for the penalties. I don't think either were certainties, another ref might have given them both, but they both would have been soft. As for the off-side, I agree it was shameful that it wasn't called. More so when I called it straight away, half the pub (no I didn't go) laughed at me, even the United fans, till they saw the replay.
The result was probably a fair one, at best in terms of fairness United could have hoped for was a draw, which in many ways would have been pefect for United.
