I might be coming down for this on the 10th of December and was wondering where the best place to stay is. Funds are tight so it's Travelodges all the way! The nearest 2 available seem to be Battersea or Waterloo.
Can any Londoners give any advice about which one is best both for getting to the gig and also for a beer or bite to eat before/after the gig? We'll be flying into Gatwick and then getting the Easybus to West Brompton.
Cheers.

Aren't you a bloody travel agent or summink or nuffink??? No can help though, all I know about London is that I hate it and the tan you thought you'd got at the Pearl Jam gig is actually just London dirt.

Don't know if this is still relevant, but Waterloo is probably your best bet. Aim not to stay in Brixton, I reckon, but anywhere around the academy is good for a drink and food. Tubes will run to Waterloo til about 12.30am probably. If not, buses are dead easy.
