Poor We Me, the film in which Tim Booth plays Gabriel De Souza, the boss of a debt collection agency, will be screened in Liverpool on Thursday 24th March 2011. The event will also feature a Q & A session with Simon Powell, the writer and director of the film. If anybody in the Liverpool area is willing to get involved in spreading the word, then that would be very much appreciated by Simon. The film was made on a shoestring, with favours pulled in all over the place and the same is true in terms of the screenings. Details of the venue can be found here. Please note, the event is not yet listed on there but it is definitely happening. Simon's next film, called Rose Gold has secured funding and looks set to get a nationwide release next year, so his career is very much in the ascendancy. Details will be posted here in due course but it is already clear to see that a strong cast is in place.
