It was originally done by James. It was on their first single, "JIMONE". It has never been on any album until now.

Thanks for the information on Whats the world. I have all the albums bar WAH WAH, and now I think I may have to start lookin through ebay and buy me some singles! Changing the topic slightly is WAH WAH good? I didnt get it because i read a cpl of bad reviews. I like Ultra (is it like that?) but wasn't so impressed with Honest Joe at Birmingham. Also has anyone else noticed that chameleon sounds amazing when played through headphones, or is that just me?

Not impressed by Honest Joe!! I am not going to bang on about Wah Wah - get it and listen to it. It's a CD of jamming and experimental madness and heaven rolled into one. Two words: Pressure's On.

Get Wah Wah. It's my favourite James album. An eclectic mix of new age rambling and post-industrial funk, tinged with folk. Plus a cracking version of Tomorrow.

get the Jam J remix also! 35 minutes of pure lush "Jimmy Jamming!" not for the faint hearted so be warned
I cant believe that someone cant get Honest Joe (the song) it is unbelievable!
Ok tim cant put as much effort into his dancing at the end of it due to his previous injuries but if you had ever seen the footage of Honest Joe from Glastonbury 94 you would realise how good this song really is.
Honest

Thanks for the info... am now off to buy wah wah... Songs like Honest Joe I need a good 4 or 5 listens before I like them. It was a bit strange! I am sure I will get into it, but I would rather he played something of Stripmiming or another song of Stutter in Birmingham... but thats my own personal opinon though! Will get wah wah and listen to honest joe! Thanks for everyones help! Richie

Honest Joe is my favouritist song ever. It changes round a lot, but this year my favourite song has been Honest Joe. I love the way the guitar part evolves from two notes into the riff it is at the end.

Hi. Just wondering about Whats the World... I heard this song on a Smiths Bootleg. Morrissey mentioned that it was a copy but not who? Morrisey knew Tim Booth and James were more talented than he or the Smiths ever would be, so when he decided not to mention James and pretend not to remember , it was because he is jealous . Didn't he sing Boys don't Cry or Friday I'm in Love ? Weak, :(very weak. James rox, and only U2 ;D can come close to matching their integrity and talent in the same genre.

James rox, and only U2 ;D can come close to matching their integrity and talent in the same genre. Except James' frontman isn't an insufferable tit.
