Just read your post.... cheers, will get on the case ;D Coparck = Dutch pride... ;D When I looked up these bands last night I still thought you were a Mancunian... I was thoroughly impressed by your knowledge of European music. Actually, I suppose I still am, if you know what I mean Anyway, I've just downloaded around 10 Mew tracks and 4 Coparck tracks (erm....all legally of course!!!) so I'll let you know what I reckon to them... thanks for the tip

I'm always on the lookout for new music, only to find that there is no band who can top James. But that doesn't imply there's nothing else worthwile You thought I were a Manc? I fooled some people with my username I guess, unintentionally though! Besides I have a southern accent... Where are you from if I might ask?

It is a great song. I have had it on quite a lot since Saturday. As others have said just picking one best song is too hard.
Lamb - Gorecki Aly-us - Follow Me Gat Decor - Passion Underworld - Rez
Could all take that position on any given day (plus loads of others of course) It is one of those songs that make you stay in a room until the very end when it comes on though. Or rush off and play it whenever someone mentions it.

It is a great song. Listen to it on YouTube, Tim at Glasto and at LCCC. On these versions it goes from being a great song to one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. I wish they would play it live like this, similar to the way in which She's A Star has been stripped down.

My vote changes daily... but its a mighty fine piece of music, and the lyrics *sheds a tear*.... for now I'd have to vote no... but its darn near to it!

A big vote for this one, and "Cowgirl". I used to listen to "Rez" and the Rough Trade "Sit Down" continuously, back to back, for days at a time as a student. Drove my flatmates mad! Best song ever? "What Time is Love (Pure Trance Original)" by the KLF.

There are so many great songs. Sometimes is one of them for sure. "if you tolerate" is another.
At the end of the day, it gets dark. No seriously, at the end of the day its down to what meaning a song has to the individual. Sometimes means a lot to me, but so many other songs. I couldn't ever choose one, but Who Are You is brilliant when you're in a good mood. Sometimes is good when I'm feeling a bit depressed (often!) as I tend to prefer downbeat introspective songs.

I think "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlise is the greatest song of all time. Sometimes is number two, just nudging out "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang.
