I see Man City have won 3 games out of 3 since their pre-season visit to Ibrox. ;D Come on City.

that didnt help LFC last year Rangers will struggle to get the big EPL clubs up there for friendlies next year if comfortable pre season victories at Ibrox become synonymous with finishing 2nd

Your lot took it a bit serious though barkhill, 4-0. It was suppose to be a "friendly"!!!. At least Man City had the decency to let us win in front of our own fans. Another reason that they deserve to WIN the EPL. ;D And I was really hoping we would get Liverpool in the Champions League so Rangers could rectify that result. Next round perhaps.... wait and see.

I'm not suggest that for a second OOTT. I know which team you are. Do you think Man City will give your team a shock this time round?. Or are you just as confident as last season?.

god almighty, can't they settle international matches using rock-paper-scissors instead? FIFA! Nobody cares! Stop interrupting our season and take yr world cup and shove it up yr arse, base first!! ..... glad I've got perennial rant out the way for this season, roll on the weekend!! Let's hope we treat Burnley with respect and don't put out a pre-season-like mixed reserve & vets XI like our illustrious rivals...

Let's hope we treat Burnley with respect and don't put out a pre-season-like mixed reserve & vets XI like our illustrious rivals... Go ahead play a full strength side, you need to after the start your lot have had. As for United, yet another defender injured, this time O'Shea's out for 2 months according to this mornings press. It's a good job we have strength in depth in that department. However, we play the Spuds this weekend, and no matter what defence we put out, we'll come back from any mix up's as always against them.

Yeah just had to swop out O'Shea for Bridge in my FL team Your right about our start though, first week in September and already too damn nervy to attempt squad rotation... Erm... your mob haven't exactly exploded out the gates either!

Erm... your mob haven't exactly exploded out the gates either! As long as we are up with the front runners we'll be alright. 3 points off the top spot, playing a team directly ahead of us on Saturday, so we could argue that it's been a good start. However, even though we won the league last year, I wouldn't say we played particularily well. We ground results out, nothing like some of the football we played in 07/08, so I'm not to concerned about our form just yet.

I wonder, given they mouthed off so much about keane, whether the citeh fans will condemn Adebayor's deliberate stamp on Van Persie's face or whether it won't matter as he doesn't play for United

Thus he misses a certain friendly fixture next Saturday. What with tha £47m striker missing as well.. They'll be claiming to have no strikers, and use it as an excuse. They also claim that it was in fact less of an offence than Scholes yesterday. I mean red carded for pulling out of a challenge. Yes the first one was nasty, and could have been red, but to get a second booking like that was a joke. Just reading the MEN website and found the comments about his celebrations and stamp amusing to say the least www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/manchester_city/s/1136575_ade_sorry_for_city_celebration

Had you been a proper fan and been going you would've known that. Wanker! Any normal human being would condemn the 'stamp', as i do, unlike Dave who celebrates the fact that Keane ended Haalands career. As for the celebration, I don't think he has anything to really apologise for. The Arsenal fans need to look at themselves. So much rage!!
