Two big James gigs, two big Man Utd games, happening on the same days. We have to join forces, no?
Basically, I'm going to be in Manchester on the 28th, day of the James gig - also the day Utd play Everton at 12.45. Can anyone recommend a good pub in the city we can all watch it? Similarly, the week before, we play Middlesbrough at 5.15, a few hours before the James show in Glasgow. So if any of you are in town for the gig and also want to see that match, I'll probably go down to O'Neill's in the Merchant City, unless someone can think of somewher better. The more James/United fans the better I say.

Well its not that far from where we need to be later, MEN Arena and Wetherspoons are top end of Deansgate and GMEX is at bottom, 10 minute walk at most.

I hate Man Utd - for a start they're not even based in Manchester.
They're the luckiest team I've ever seen - Ferguson is one of the biggest twats in football. They're one of the most disrespectful clubs in football with some of the most disrespectful fans.
As a true red - A Liverpool red it would be nice if Man Utd fans for once acknowledge our achievements and the fact that we are the greatest club in football in terms of honours.

Hang on a minute, in fact an hour or a day!! First of all you gotta be winding me up!! Second we know of your achievments fair play but would a scouser acknowledge Man Utd, i guess not!! You have won alot in the past but who lives in the past?? Not me nor Man Utd. Why are we disrespectful, we hate you as much as you hate us!! Man Utd have the most fans from all over because their stadium is so big you have to have people from other places to fill it, unlike Anfield which is nearly half the size!! Are you gonna MEN and the Moon under Water?? I would like a fun bit of banter with you!!! ;D ;D ;D

Odd Tom, I'd never heard your Scouse accent. Course not, you're not a Scouser are you. Liverpool have as many glory hunters from their success in the late seventies and eighties than United have from the nineties. And as for a history lesson, United being in Trafford is part of the central government interference in the city borders of Manchester and the surrounding areas. Walk five minutes from the Arndale centre in one direction and you're in Salford, walk an hour the other way and you're still in Manchester. Yeah, you won lots of trophies in the past. You haven't won the League since the start of the nineties. For a massive club that's shocking. Just as it was when we didn't win it for 26 years. I actually find it amusing when Liverpool fans go on about their glorious past and miss the future. Every year is going to be your year and yet still you're 17 points behind United having played a game more. If the roles were reversed, I wouldn't be happy about that. Yet you keep funding Rafa and his sub-standard purchases. As for luck, you make it by being in the right place at the right time. Liverpool in the eighties were no different. They were a great side, but they had their luck too.

Not to mention the 'luck' of all those dubious penalties given at the Kop end, and there were many... And the luck continues... 1 EC and 1 FAC without even being in the lead in either final.

Tom were I too mention that you've done exactly what you say United fans do, in that you are being disrespectful to other clubs. You suggest that the Bin dippers are the greatest club due to the amount of honours it's won.... However clubs like Real Madrid, Barca, Celtic and Rangers have more honours than the dippers. That makes them greater than anyone. So before making comments based on honours at least get the facts right.

So, depending on other results in the interim, it looks like we'll have to get a result at Chelsea to be champions. Suits me, it'd be hollow going there and losing and still ending up champions.
Our defence is well and truly knackered though.
